Meet the founder

Mark Iqbal TebhaChief Executive Officer · Tebha, Inc. — Las Vegas, NV

Mark Iqbal Tebha has notably served as the founder, president and chief executive officer of Tebha, Inc., since 1983. Number one in the nation's vacuum industry, Tebha, Inc., earns up to $30 million per year in business and constantly beats out its competitors in terms of price, service and quality.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of California Berkeley in 1969 and obtaining a Master of Business Administration in 1971, Mr. Tebha began working as an engineer for a private company. He was let go after completing a project, and he realized that while working for someone, he could be let go at any time. However, if he ran his own business, he could control his own fate. Soon thereafter, Tebha, Inc., came to fruition.

In addition to his career in the engineering and vacuum industries, Mr. Tebha previously served in the U.S. Army for a number of years. He is now a member of the Vacuum Dealers Trade Association, and in five years' time, he would like to continue doing his current work. He finds his profession in serving the American market in Nevada, New Mexico and California extremely gratifying. In an ever-changing national market, Mr. Tebha is not fearful of the possible threat internet retail companies could be to his business. He believes in these situations, you do not overcome change – you go along with them. His idea is to ride them, not resist them.

Mr. Tebha attributes his success to his reliability, honesty and ability to listen to the customers' needs. He also is thankful for his Muslim faith, which brings him comfort through prayer. A man connected to his faith, Mr. Tebha helped build his local mosque so the Muslim community in his area could have a place to pray, as there was not a designated place for it previously.
